Terms of Service

GENA is an AI receptionist service that answers phone calls on behalf of a subscribed business, using information the business provides, and delivers a summary of each call so the business can follow up. The service is provided on a subscription basis, with plans and included call minutes described on our pricing page.

You must be authorized to act on behalf of the business you sign up for GENA with, and provide accurate account, billing, and business information. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.

• Plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis at the price shown at checkout for your plan.
• Payment is processed by our third-party payment provider; we don't store full card details.
• Each plan includes a set number of call minutes per month; usage beyond that is billed as overage, as described on the pricing page.
• There is no setup fee and no long-term contract — you can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

The information you give GENA about your business (hours, services, service area, pricing policy, escalation instructions) is used directly on live calls with your customers, so you're responsible for keeping it accurate and current. You're also responsible for how you use information GENA passes to you from a call, and for complying with any laws that apply to your business's own use of caller information, call recording, and telephone communications (including any consent or disclosure requirements in your state).

You agree not to use GENA for any unlawful purpose, to misrepresent your business, or to attempt to interfere with or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe puts the service, other customers, or callers at risk.

GENA is built to answer calls using the information it's been given, and is designed to avoid inventing information it doesn't have. GENA is not a substitute for emergency services — GENA does not dispatch emergency responders, and any escalation rules you set are followed on a best-effort basis. GENA's availability, like any phone or internet-dependent service, is subject to occasional outages from us or from our third-party providers.

Delivering the service relies on third-party telephony, AI/voice-processing, hosting, and payment providers. We select providers we consider reliable and secure, but we don't control their infrastructure directly and aren't liable for outages or failures that originate with them, beyond using reasonable efforts to restore service.

We own the GENA platform, software, and branding. You retain ownership of your own business information and the content of your calls; you grant us the right to process that information as needed to provide the service to you.

The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and our liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We'll update the “last updated” date above when we do, and we'll let customers know directly about material changes.
